For: I wanna defeat the Discord Makers CN side
Discord Makers CN Side is a really big collab, consisting of 28 different, primarily vanilla needle stages. Despite this there's actually a somewhat decent amount of variety. I will say some of the weakest moments of the game are the stages like Wind's or Lvyuki's which go on for too long without much to keep it interesting or engaging. The best and worst parts are in the final tier of stages, the Special tier. The low points are TheWWworld's stage, which isn't awful but kinda awkward and unwieldly, and especially Mirror's stage, which was by far my least favorite. It's also worth noting I think the first screen of Mirror is by far the hardest thing in the game, both saves were a lot harder than the rest. Without those two my difficulty rating would be in the 73-75 range. The highlights though were really good, stuff like Q123, SeVens, Shadow, and XP made some great stages in my opinion, the latter 2 having some trigger needle definitely makes me biased towards them. I think if you like basic needle it's worth playing, although if you need a gimmick to keep you going, this won't be for you.

This was wonderful. The main mechanic is executed so well it opens for lot of opportunities! This was fantastic to play, every stage was more or less balanced and climbs in difficulty smoothly enough so there's not really any difficulty spike, which makes it really enjoyable while keeping its main purpose.
It never seemed to get repetitive, always felt different even though the main mechanic was intact for the entirety of my playthrough. Each and every stage is original, you really can't get used to it.
Would recommend to absolutely everyone! :D
Gameplay : 10/10
Visual : 9/10 (the simplicity makes it visually appealing)
Level Design : 9.5/10 (my favorite gameplay change was the screen wraparound

I was a lot more fond of this one than the first one in the series, I've had a genuinely good experience with it. We can feel the balance between saves that has been improved by a tad as well!
I don't know if it was easier than the first one, I'd probably say it was around the same difficulty.
My experience with it was great, even though I tend to be anxious really fast, yet this one satisfied me instead. I felt some sort of accomplishment when getting to saves, which was a rather nice feeling.
Would recommend for anyone willing to put some time in effort in! Great job :)

This needle game is one of the better ones, and some aspects of it are really well-thought. One of the main issues with it is the lack of balance : some saves were pretty friendly and rather fun to get, while others felt like homework. There were some choke points that were stress-inducing as well, like that one double-jump gate right after one of the saves, as it's harder than the rest of the part so you're just doing it over and over until passing it, then you gotta control your nerves to try and not pull a dumb to avoid passing it again.
Overall I had a pretty nice experience apart from the fact I had to replay the entire thing because of my save file somehow getting corrupted while I was at the last room.
Would probably recommend if you're an amateur or willing to put some time as a beginner. :)

Extremely charming and moving piece of art. The areas and bosses look amazing, and each one has their own, distinctive theme.
The most appearent downside is difficulty balance - most bossfights are way too short and easy - beating them first try in 10-20 seconds is a pity because they really are well designed.
Also, a very few stage sections are very out of place, too rough and frustrating compared to everything else.
If you enjoy fantasy stuff just like me, you'll love this one.
I 100% recommend this for beginners - try to do 1 or 2 areas per sitting...! :)

Very creative and beautiful! The scenarios are pretty and each "world" has their own "mechanics" :)
There are some japanese texts here and there, though. You may want to translate them (like me "^^) if you don't know japanese.
The final parts and ending are very heartwarming too. And there's some Touhou assets! Yay!
