It starts with something pretty enjoyable, then just throws a long-save stage not fun nor interesting to your face which suddenly ruins the gameplay experience.

Cute needle, cute music and tile sets, cute maker. I was hooked and couldn't put it down until I beat it a little over an hour later. An excellent difficulty curve with just the right difficulty for me near the end. There were a number of jumps I learned about in this game that were so fun, they actually blew my mind. I've tried to study this makers style ever since playing Moonstone, and I can tell this is gonna be a game that I'll replay many times, AND there's actually a nice incentive to do so (the extra). My only critique is, and it's really minor and may have been a stylistic choice, but the old school game over music byte was loud and took me out of my flow state a few times. If I ever make needle games, I really hope they end up like this one.
Also, the stage 2 song was great, it made me tear up a little. okay I just learned it's a lilypichu song :( but its still good.
