Some of the jumps feel unbalanced, either due to just poor design or align problems, but it's understandable, since it's your first game. I guess it was decent.

This was very easy at the start and suuddenly the last screen hit me like a brick wall.
It's pretty nice but the first screens were a little boring, something was lacking for them to be on par on difficulty with the rest.
Like Jopagu said, it also made the last screens stand out some more.

Not bad for a first game, lack of save blockers make a few saves easier althoug not all are affected by this issue.
There are a couple tricky manoeuvres but most of the needle sounds pretty classic.

As someone who never really likes to play precision games or L-Needle, I think I had a lot of fun going out of my way to clear this, especially for a derivative of Hades. I came back to this game 2 years after getting to screen 2 and getting stuck on a save, but decided to clear from the beginning in about 53 minutes. There are a couple jumps where using numpad cancelling will greatly increase your chance of getting past tight jumps, so I definitely recommend knowing how to use it when playing this game.
This game is pretty run of the mill and there are a lot of pretty generic jumps, so if you want a precision game that is more interesting, this one might not be for you, but considering how old this game is, it shouldn't be particularly surprising that the needle hasn't aged too well. That said however, I don't think it stopped me from having a good time, so if you are looking for a decent challenge, I think it may be worth a shot!

Interesting avoidance that takes place entirely in water, which leads to a more slow-paced experience than the average infinite jump avoidance. This is definitely aided by the attacks being very laid back and not posing much of a threat, although a few attacks might startle you, particularly every chorus begins with an attack which makes up most of the difficulty, although it's not too hard if you get used to how you handle it. It makes interesting use of a moving camera to force you to move around a lot which is a cool idea, definitely the best part of the fight to me. Some might find it boring but I personally find it relaxing and decently fun.
