I really wish I could give this a better rating, because it's a truly fantastic and well crafted game, except for one thing. The coin cost to enter a stage completely ruins the game. The need to constantly replay earlier stages to grind coins is incredibly frustrating and boring. The ability to lose all your coins on one hard start means you'll have to return to stage one to slowly build your way back through the levels. It's frankly awful. I can see why Cosmo rated this so high, because once you're good enough this won't be an obstacle. But for most players, I imagine this annoyance will prove a significant damper on what should be a great game.

An adventure game with 4 stages.
The truth is I didn't see the game as bad for only one thing and that is the traps, since they are Spikes flying and those with the most annoying traps for the most part.
The bosses are good (except the final boss)

Ten-stage needle game that starts off pretty simple and builds from there. The early stuff is pretty good; I had a lot of fun with it. However, things quickly changed when the platforming got harder. This had little to do with the difficulty itself, but rather how the difficulty was created: 16-pixel gaps, awkward ledges, cryptic align grabs, the whole shebang. These tanked what would have otherwise been an enjoyable experience, especially with respect to the abhorrent difficulty curve. Some saves felt like multiple L-needle saves tossed into one, which, along with the creator's penchant for making the first jump miserable, made grinding those saves a pain. The problems really harmed my enjoyment, and that's reflected within my rating.
To prospective players: be warned that the difficulty rating on delfruit is not accurate, weighed down by some absurdly low ratings (a 45? really?).

Although it's a Christmas game, this game sucks so I strongly don't recommend it.
