Fun beginner needle game with extra production value on the visuals. I really liked the title cards displaying progress, and the effect when shooting. The rooms are pretty varied, with some nice structures, but the jumps are all pretty generic. I recommend this due to the visuals making it a pleasant experience, but gameplay wise it's nothing special.

Short unmemorable needle game. It's pleasant enough for a quick romp, but the difficulty balance is poor. There will often be 5 free saves followed by one with a weirdly precise jump. I don't recommend this for beginners, but for experienced players this is a fine needle to play if you're bored.

Fantastic short needle game. The visuals and music are on point, creating a relaxing jazz environment. Every screen of needle feels distinct, and there are a lot of interesting room structures. The dotkid usage is great, and it uses switching back and forth in some really clever ways. None of the jumps are too difficult, and the balance is perfect. The miniboss and boss are cute and funny, although much easier than the rest, but still enjoyable. Overall, this is an absolute must play needle game, and highly recommended for beginners.

Really fun game with some unique gimmicks. The game has a fun theme, and the aesthetic is on point throughout, creating a dingy and unsafe environment for the kid. The gimmicks are cool, I really like the usage of the acid barrels and the teleporters. The moving saw gimmick was the least inspired, and that area was a bit of a low point. Some of the needle is unpleasantly precise, but overall the game is really fun, though I wish it went farther with the central conceit of figuring out which gimmicks you need and which ones will harm you.

Cutesy needle game with a nice aesthetic. The first two stages are pretty cool, but the last two stages have a major difficulty spike, mostly with unfun named jump spam and jump mashing sections. It's a shame cause I like the visuals and the unique room layouts, but these last two stages are too awkward for this game to be a strong recommendation.

Consistently fun platforming... in the roguelike mode. Consistently fun and fair bosses... in the roguelike mode. Mix of fun and garbage in the Magic Tower mode. Online is cool. Don't like that there are two achievements tied to online because if the game's servers ever go down they will be forever unobtainable. Game feels like it has a WAY smaller chunk selection than advertised, being advertised as having 2000 and me feeling like I maybe only saw 100 or less after 50+ hours. There are also a lot of chunks that can show up across multiple worlds and difficulties, making things seem even more budget but overall the game offers a lot of fun and it looks and sounds nice. I recommend it I guess but it does feel like it probably only would appeal to a specific kind of person. I did get all the achievements btw. Pretty good if you're looking for a challenge and a game that could keep you occupied for quite some time. Medium Deathless and Magic Tower All Bosses No Hit were certainly journeys. No difficulty given because the game can be either a fairly low difficulty or absolutely nutty depending on what you decide to do in it. Also sorry if this review seems a little negative, don't get the wrong idea, it's a good game and probably one of my favorite fangames.

A mediocre needle game without much special. Most of the game is corridor needle, with a lot of repeated jumps. There are a couple cool screens, like a minispike screen and a water shuriken screen, but most of the game is uncreative. There are a few jumps that are much more difficult than the rest, bringing up the difficulty and making it harder to recommend this.

The needle is nothing special, and pretty much what you'd expect from a beginner 100f game. However, what sets this game apart is the story. The game includes an English translation (a feature I really appreciate), and while the translation is poor, it's enough to get the gist across. The story isn't the best I've ever seen, but it does something rare for a fangame. It puts effort into telling a story with emotional resonance and meaningful themes. This is something I love seeing in a fangame, and I hope someday more games attempt this.
