The platforming is rather unexceptional and has confusing parts, but the EX stage was actually kinda fun after knowing all the traps and such from the regular playthrough. However, be prepared for some stupid GOTTEMs and a ton of waiting for platform cycles.

We do be walking the grasslands, but also jumping.
Saves gets pretty lengthy near the end, although the platforming remains very simplistic.

2 needle screens followed by a seemingly healthy boss with a single attack + healing attack.
Although when you reach phase 2 it just goes crazy with new attacks (but no more healing).
Could have used more attacks in phase 1 to make it less boring.

The stage is short, but the boss is relatively difficult.
It is difficult to break through the stage unless you are good at the atmosphere of the stage and the needle arrangement as in the early days.
