Good avoidance to play, terrible avoidance to grind, there's some really creative attacks but the few bad attacks the game has are really bad and unfortunally basically ruin the whole avoidance, but it's still a very fun avoidance that, if only it was playtested better, could be one of the best avoidances ever made.

Awesome needle game with multiple endings and fun gimmicks. I happened to really like this game, as it doesn't have any bosses for me to break my finger on.

Honestly, when we started making fangames this was the best case scenario of where these creations could go.
In an unique experience reminiscient of Celeste's mechanics with Moneyseize's template, this is only tangentially something which can be called related to the original I wanna be the guy. And maybe that's good; because everything bad with fangames just isn't here. This is what most people are looking for when getting fangames that challenge the norm, that challenge what it means to be a fangame.
Yes, I think this is perhaps the best fangame I've ever played, as of the any% clear. I know it gets harder, but so far this is perhaps the best difficulty this game could've been. I'm glad the clear isn't 100%, otherwise it would take something away from the victory and the pacing of the game.
I would genuinely pay for this. If you get to where I got, wouldn't you?? It's just so good.
The graphics are great, the gameplay is absolutely stunning, the level design is enviable and the charm the game oozes, while partially borrowed from moneyseize, is outstanding and far outdoes the inspiration. Honestly, if this were a game on it's own, it would still be one of those games I play for hours, absolutely addicted by the challenging content. And that's exactly what I'm off to do now, I will update this review with my opinion on the 100% content when I finish this to that point.
EDIT: So far I'm going through the rest of the game and have done up to 800 coins. The last level felt quite difficult in comparison to the others, but this is still less than 70/100 level i would say. Still, quite challenging and fun, I'm excited for levels 33-36.

This game is unkind. I still don't know the effect of the third ring. I knew from the speedrun video that the gravity reversal to get a particular item was hidden, and if I hadn't, I would quit. Most puzzles don't even tell me what to do. Besides that, I wasted too much time because of the unkindness of this game.
(And I will never get to the secret)
Not only that, the problem is.
The structure of platforming loses its novelty as the play progresses. The obstacles all look different, but their attack is similar and to avoid them is almost the same. Most of the gimmicks are familiar, and it's hard to say that they've been used in a fresh way. The monsters were welcome at first, but the attacks they use are bad. It doesn't matter if the game is short, but I had to face them more than a hundred times. That's the problem. To increase the volume of this game, the author mass produced incomplete screens.
(+The final boss was not cool and felt that his attack was not like a final boss.)
Not everything does that. In fact, there are interesting parts in this game. But unfortunately, I forgot them. If you're familiar with Metroidvania and really love that, it's worth playing.
