Based on Ending A. Neat game, has a strong style, great atmosphere and very fun and unique gameplay as well, something that you're not usually can see in needle games :)

The game opens strong with Inferno and Wolfie's stage, which are really good and I would definitely recommend them. Then is Sunlaoqq, which I found to be pretty unpleasant long saves. I enjoyed Lucien, it's more short save/precision focused, so definitely not for everyone. After this, the game takes a major step down. FailJGuy stage is abhorrent, it's the hardest part of the game and I wouldn't recommend a single save of it. Ghost stage picks it back up a bit, it was a decent stage even if it had some pretty weird difficulty balance and some "seriously?" saves (e.g. a bunch of apple ledges in a row). This stage would be good on its own, but is certainly not worth playing through the precious one.
Overall, I would recommend the first two stages, maybe the first four. But FailJGuy stage is so bad can't recommend finishing this game.

Rating based on a full clear which includes beating the extra boss. Without it I would rate the game 50 difficulty.
Oldschool needle/trap focused game consisting of 3 platforming stages with a boss at the end, as well as a boss stage with two new bosses. The needle is pretty simple but creative for its time, and while the traps are your standard moving spike traps they didn't bother me that much because the saves are easy enough that they don't become too repetitive. I mainly disliked the visuals because two of the three stages have bad color picks that blend in too much with the background which makes things harder to see, but thankfully the stages themselves are quite short.
Every stage has an optional secret which give you nothing in return, but if you have the desire to get them you can access them by touching the mirrored checkerboard block. Beware that the secret item sprite shares the same sprite so you might accidentally miss it.
To me the fun lies in not the stages but the bosses. They have simple attack patterns but they're also designed in a way that they are never unfair, but rather you're required to learn a cycle that never changes. The first and second boss have no iframes but the third boss shoots fruit are you which you must shoot back to the boss and time your hits so the fruits hit the boss on time. The final boss is a culmination of every boss you've fought before, and once again the hard part is learning the cycles and never does it wall you due to bad RNG. Beating this boss counts as a clear. It's actually possible to skip the first three stages if you beat the first boss mentioned below and just accessing the final boss room, and beating the boss lets you complete the game early.
If you noticed on the second screen there is a warp on the top left which you can access by activating some triggers and do some backtracking until you reach the warp. This boss is not connected to the rest of the game except for the end of the boss stage. It's essentially a training mode for the real boss which you can access by going to the top left warp in the boss stage. Before you decide to beat the extra boss you must beat the final boss beforehand because otherwise one of the doors in the boss room do not open which I learned the hard way.
The extra boss is the hardest boss in the game by far, and requires a hefty amount of multitasking and risky dodges. This boss was the main reason why I decided to play this as zero told me back in 2021 that he considered this to be the hardest boss he had beaten during that time, taking him 9,5 hours to beat. He even said it was harder than the Noesis' final boss, so I was up for the task to see if I was capable of beating it.
Like the other bosses before it the boss design is really simple, where the red and blue bosses combine together to form a super boss. The red guy has 30 HP and the blue guy has 50 HP, but you'll pretty much always kill red first. This boss constantly demands your attention and leaving too much fruit behind fills the boss arena and most if not always you will get walled and die. You also need to time your shots so you don't accidentally hit the black fruits as those also kill you. It's also preferred to shoot the diagonal fruits on the left side because they always move right and if you accidentally shoot one on the right there's a big chance that it will instakill you unless you know what you are doing.
This boss was an absolute nightmare to beat but despite that I still enjoyed it since its pretty easy to get to end of the first Guyrock loop, and most attempts die around 10-15 seconds in before the song ends. If anything its good practice for reading slow + dense RNG which happens pretty often in harder bosses/avoidances. Good luck if you decide to go for it.
Would recommend.
