I replayed this recently, and I enjoyed it just as much as I did as a beginner years ago. The game is full of charm, with each collectable having a distinct micro-stage themed around the relevant deceased. The traps are really funny, definitely the highlight, but that's not to say the platforming and bosses aren't interesting as well.
Wholeheartedly recommend as a beginner adventure game.

Bad saves are back. Also there was a squished diagonal, that I couldn't do without the right align, which I had to backtrack in the stage to get it - now imagine if I couldn't backtrack. Straight up a softlock.

Gameplay is pretty shit, corner spam, especially with bad aligns and shit jumps everywhere.
The most infuriating part is the saves. They are placed in such ass places that just makes it straight up unfun to play. Moreover, they release a few bullets as an effect which obscure vision and made me so mad, I wanted to just drop the game.
Wouldn't recommend.
