The platforming was fun, but the bosses were not. Half the bosses require you to cycle through their attacks at least once just to damage it enough. Some attacks throughout the game do not seem balanced at all and feel more like a dice roll. Every boss room besides 1 or 2 has no walls on the side of the screen, so it creates a tiny bit more tension when you're dodging in a corner. The optional items cannot be used on the bosses as well, since you can't go into the menu during them, which seems a bit weird. There are also a lot of trial and error aspects as well, so prepare to be stuck at something longer than you should be. The 2nd to last phase of the final fight is over 6 minutes long. You do have 3 HP and regain 1 of them during the last bit, but it still seems a bit too much for everything you have to dodge during this 6 minute time period. The true final stages has nothing but long saves as well, which frustrated me a bit.
