There is not one spike so it's not Needle.
It's a short game with 3 screens that takes background animation from uhuhu spike
and it focuses on long distance jumps.
The only thing you will die to is the game's border, but there's enough chances to hit R nonetheless
(pits, or to avoid doing the previous save another time).
There is no connection to the solar system series other than the title.

A great retro trap fangame loaded with great references to old classic games, good music selection, and fair bosses. There is one avoidance mid-game but it's not too long and actually very fair with no instagibs.

Pretty entertaining till the final question, which is really dumb due to relying on a lot of extremely specific fangame knowledge, which none of the other questions do. Other than that, pretty solid difficulty curve and is pretty funny sometimes. Would recommend to anyone who knows at least basic calculus if you want a quick refresher on some skills or something to kill some time on.
If you're stuck on question 50 and want the answer without doing the really tedious intended way, it's 774.

Easy and short avoidance (about a minute and 30 seconds). Visuals are pretty, no instagibs, the attacks are mostly simple but there's a few cool things here and there. My biggest complaint is that the final part is pretty hard compared to the rest. Give it a shot.
