This game was fantastic, with clever platforming and gimmicks... and then the Death bosses happened.
While I understand the game was meant to be played in one of the "limited death" modes and I played it on Free Mode, playing it on an unintended mode shouldn't remove ALL of the threat. (For the record, I would've lost if I was on 500-death mode, but I was well below 2000 deaths.) If the Death bosses worked like a regular fangame boss with player health, they'd be better. Not great, but better. A lot of their attacks come way too fast to react to, leading to cheap deaths.
It's a shame, because like I said, the actual platforming was great. I especially liked the Zelda-esque exploration area with the spells. If only the game stopped about halfway through...
