This is a great game, not just because it started it all, but because of the gameplay. Sure there might be some other games that look better than this, but in its time, this was the best freaking game I have ever seen. If it was not for this game, there would not have been so many great fangames.
The bosses are not that bad, I have seen better, but since this is the first fangame, I think the bosses are amazing, some of the traps are annoying, but they are really easy to get out of, there are also secrets in the game which I have still yet to find out.
This game has different paths, you can choose which paths you would like to go through first, but you have to go through all of them to collect all the orbs to reach the fortress of The guy. Each path has bosses and the bosses are!
Path 1:
Boss 1: Mike Tyson
Boss 2: Mecha Birdo
Boss 3: Dracula (castlevania)
Path 2:
Boss 4: Kraidgief
Boss 5: Bowser/Wart/Dr.Willy
Path 2.5 (Which is somewhere in path 2)
Boss 6: Mother brain (Metroid)
Final Path
Boss 7: Dragon (Megaman)
Boss 8: The Guy

Worse than the first game as this one contains a boring generic needle screen and a even stupider math question before the avoidnace. I did the avoidance first try with 1 life out of 15 remaining and was overall less bullshit than the first one, although not as fun.

A decent barrage type avoidance that is relatively easy until the end where it just shits on you, regardless of how many lives you have left, at the end. I's okay if you are into avoidance and want to get dicked by RNG for a while.

Overall pretty fun game I guess. Obvious inspiration from Sunspike, but it's actually better than Sunspike at the end of the day imo. The first three stages of needle were pretty meh for me but I really enjoyed the rest of it. I'm really bad at and dislike long saves/endurance type stuff so the final save was a huge drag on the rest of the game for me, but I got a pretty good rush when beating it so I'll forgive it.
Would recommend.

Decent Sunspike-inspired game, good for a quick playthrough if you're looking for some needle. The penultimate save is super obnoxious though, feels like most of my deaths came from it alone.

the needle was pretty fun, but the first attack of the fight was so boring i just had almost no motivation to play the game. The attacks also felt underwhelming and i felt like the attempt to make the game a beginner avoidance game made the attacks oversimplified, and they weren't that satisfying to dodge. the visuals were nice though
