This game would be so much better if everything just got nerfed. The patterns really aren't hard to learn, but the RNG comes too fast or too dense. After spending about 8 hours on the game I haven't made it past the halfway point once. Wouldn't recommend.

I played the magic tower mode and it was preeeetty good, though I didn't expect it to be that difficult.
The key usage has to be near perfect, but at least there are no situations where you have to take more than 3 different paths so I think it's ok, but the bosses get pretty unfair near the very end.
My main complains are, I would have appreciated multiple backups instead of just one.
And CatBag hardest version, Alucat and The Cat went a little to far in some parts imo.
CatBag has the one attack where giant bullets come from the top with different angles, and at the same time CatBag shoots giant blue shurikens many times, really difficult to get consistent at it considering there is some RNG in that attack.
About Alucat, he has the one "gustav" attack, where a lot of lasers spawn around you either vertically, horizontally or diagonally. But the thing is that there is EVEN LESS reaction time to dodge the lasers than in Gustav games like Justice Guy.
And for The Cat, he literally has an attack that is impossible to dodge in the last phase unless you are in the vines meanwhile The Cat fists are alive. And in the Mekat phase, he can go outside of the screen with bad spawn luck, and then you are forced to press R!

A very good choice for people looking to break into higher level needle. Precision is demanded from the player for nearly every jump, but nothing feels like a wall or an unreasonable difficulty spike; if you can do the first save, you can handle everything in this game.
There are no gimmicks like vines/platforms/water, but there are saves making extensive usage of apples and there are several required (or encouraged) 2f jumps, so be aware.
I honestly ended up liking this game a lot more than I thought I would based on the comments here (the last save in particular was really fun), but I'm going to have to deduct a few points because of the background. Not only are there some very small spikes that are hard to see because of it (green on green), but it makes it very hard to see the Kid's feet at certain parts of the screen, which is absolutely a no-go for a game that requires this degree of precision and has so many corners. I was really bothered by it at several points, so if you're a player who relies on this sort of visual information to help position yourself for jumps then you've been warned.
