This game is shit even in the read me the creator said it was but he was making something better. This is a time wasting game and also if you die you have to do even more gates than last time. Do not play this game only play if you are bored and want to do the same jump a million times.

This game is absolutely shit. This game has stupid gravity and the jump refresher screen is absolute trash. The super meat boy sprites were cool but other than that this game was terrible. I know most people like this game but to me this game was trash. i would not recommend this game to anybody.

Interesting needle with nice visuals, pleasant music choices and a charming atmosphere overall. The jumps are pretty inventive, and the pathing is pretty well done. Solid usage of the dotkid gimmick, too. Having the kid's hitbox as the actual main character is just part of the charm. The boss is pretty light-hearted and fun, if a little douche-y due to the save-less end. Pretty solid experience overall. Would recommend.

I have mixed feelings about this game. The visuals are nice, and so is the music, and the jumps are interesting, indeed.
But some of these jumps feel...Random. You jump at random heights to reach random key spots and then somehow barely make it through the spikes. Your movements don't have anything to do with the jump itself at all. Many of them are quite annoying to pull off, as well (There IS a difference between challenging and annoying, and that regards the nature of the jumps).
It's kinda interesting, but not my type of needle. Not sure if I would recommend.

Wow, I haven't reviewed this yet? Huh.
I Wanna Sunspike is a relatively short game, consisting of 6 stages (unless you count both blue outline areas as one) and an avoidance boss, with every stage slowly amping up the difficulty. A beginner could definitely start this game, maybe make it to stage 3, but couldn't possibly beat the game without some previous fangame or precision platforming experience. Unless, you know, they're willing to grind for a few 10s of hours.
The visuals of the game start getting good in stage 4, with stage 6 being the best in the game (in my opinion).
Out of all the screens in the game, i only have a real problem with 2 of them, in which i will link here: http://imgur.com/a/dynvy - Those screens are arguably horrible, but for the rest of the platforming in the game, it's full of pretty generic needle jumps, but I find it very fun, to the point of speedrunning it. The difficulty curve is insane, as you will know once you've seen the first screen of the game, and then the last.
The music in this game is pretty good, I like just about every song and they all fit with their respective areas.
The avoidance boss is what really makes this game, being 3 minutes and 32 seconds long, it has a whole lot of production value. The song is absolutely AMAZING, and is probably my all-time favorite vocaloid song. Here's the link to it, btw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkHgpKcX5FY - The boss is fairly easy for veteran players and can be cleared within a short timespan of a few hours. This boss took me 16 hours, about half of which was when i was still bad at fangames, the other half being when i was slightly less shit. The final attack is definitely the hardest attack in the boss, and it is really really cool looking. Well, it was cooler before people started making better versions of it, but still.
Anyway, with all that being said, it is one of my favorite fangames, and i would 100% recommend a full playthrough. (Then beat yoyo's any% wr kthx)
