Rating based on version 1.20, and includes extra.
Amazing needle experience. Despite being really long for a needle game (6 stages, not including the extra, each of which has a decent length on its own), it manages to keep itself fresh and enjoyable from the beginning to the end. The visuals are gorgeous, specially in the later stages, and the music choices are great. The jumps are a mix of interesting jumps and generic jumps used in interesting ways. There are also some minor gimmicks to sprinkle a bit more variety in it. The difficulty curve is really solid, the way each stage is designed is amazing, and it's just all around a great experience. The death sound is somewhat annoying, but nothing major.
The extra stage requires secrets to be reached, but the game comes with a file that shows exactly where is each secret, which is a nice touch for people who don't like to hunt them (They're all hidden behind fake walls anyway). The secrets are a lot harder than the stages they belong in, specially stage 6's, and the extra is a lot harder than any of the secrets. Even so, they are all as enjoyable as the rest of the game, and worth a try if you want a bigger challenge.
Easily one of my favorite needle games as of now. Highly recommended.
