As good as the previous one, but easier this time. See my review of heaventrap 1 because I'm gonna say exactly the same for this game.

I didn't expect to enjoy this game when i went in, but i was pleasantly surprised with how much i enjoyed this game. The platforming is nothing special but i wouldn't say it's bad either. (I enjoyed it maybe more than i should've.) The "traps" kind of spice it up but maybe not always for the better, since there were quite some cheap/annoying traps mixed in, but some were pretty alright. Though they were all the flying spike/ disappearing block variant of traps. If I remember correctly. Most of the bosses are very simple. Fortunately it's a good kind of simple with no cheap or boring attacks. Although the later bosses slowly become a bit more complicated and those were the ones I enjoyed the most. Theres also an avoidance, it's pretty fun and kind of easy. Not very learny and more of a "dodge all this" kind of fight. It had a couple of things that cought me offguard, but nothing that's really an instagib. The final boss was great and definitely a bit more challenging than the rest while still being fair and fitting for this game. The tilesets used were mostly pleasant, besides one where there was visually a bit too much going on. All the music is restarting, however the stages are not very long or grindy so it's not that big of a nuisance. The song choice itself is very good and fitting.
While this game feels a bit dated, it's still great and i'd recommend playing it.
