Kirwy is an old adventure game that hasn't aged the best. The platforming is pretty charming for the most part, and it being alone would improve the game. The final stage is an actually quite cool metroidvania. The bosses are another story. They are all far too long, with a couple of them being the same three attacks for FIVE loops. This standard is actually flipped for the water stage. I found this platforming to be quite bad, with one abhorrent save with a fuck ton of mashing required. The boss to this stage actually varies, and as such is a good step up. The final boss is also pretty decent, although the beginning is too slow and boring for how long it is.

It's an adventure game which has 4 stages and a final boss. The stages themselves are fine and I would rate maybe a 7/10. The bosses, however, are fairly repetitive and lost my attention pretty quickly. They only have a couple of attacks that repeat in the same order every time so you will spend a lot of time seeing the same thing over and over. Overall, the game is fine but the bosses just don't hold up compared to many more recent games.

Competent adventure game, it starts with a hub featuring 4 paths, each one leading to a stage with a boss. Platforming-wise, it's nothing incredible but the pathing is well-though and combined with some nice traps, it was a good experience. Bosses however are weaker due to that fact that most of them are a sequence of a few attacks that loop a lot of times. Final boss is better but also very long and harder than the rest of the game.
It was a pleasant experience and you can clearly see that it was made by see the moon maker beccause it kinda has similar vibes.

The game is so bare bones. The platforming was the more interesting part but it's nothing you cannot find in other games. Bosses are worse as they're way too slow paced and you're often going through the same cycle of basic attacks multiple times before the boss is defeated. And don't get me started on how choke worthy the Water Stage and Final bosses were on top of the same slow attacks earlier.
I do not recommend this game at all. Only if you're committed to getting Gold+ rank in FSR.
