Nice puzzle game, I would have loved to see a maze like in the first game and I'm not a fan of bosses.

So here's the deal: this is the main game and the other ceiling 2 is bonus one.

A classic puzzle platforming style game that's been around for a long time and influenced a ton of games following. It holds up pretty well and was quite fun to go through.

The platforming is the real attraction of the game, featuring a number of mechanics and gimmicks interacting, though largely boiling down to hitting a button and something happens. Still, its interesting and there's a lot to keep track of though it never gets very difficult (and some of the more complicated rooms either have misleads or alternate solutions, not sure which) so you probably won't get particularly stuck. Unfortunately this was a detraction for me as I felt like I could just run through the screens without really thinking about it as many of the solutions felt like they were on rails that it would require serious overthinking to get yourself off of.

The bosses are okay, fitting to the game for the most part, though the first one felt a little long and learny.

It's a good game though, and certainly has a legacy of inspired games for a reason. Worth it for a nice quick hour or less diversion that's chill, still fun and simple.

Walk the Ceiling gimmicks are becoming more prevalent these days, which is great! The laser switches, gravity flipping and spike-changing combination of gimmicks make for some really interesting puzzles and platforming, which this game had a bunch of. Whilst not being too long, it was a nice chunk of time I could sit back and think through some puzzles whilst enjoying a boss or two.

Some screens did feel a bit underwhelming in the sense that there weren't many options and the path felt rather linear, often making the puzzle elements take a backseat. Other screens felt like you had a ton of options and figuring out the correct route was very satisfying, making for a mixed experience. The bosses were also fun although a couple of attacks caught me off guard like the gravity flip on the eggplant(?) boss.

Fun stuff though. Was a pleasant little romp through puzzle land.

See Sami's review. It's a must play if you like puzzle games even though I personally prefer the prequel.
