Super chill game, it's only platforming with the occasional gimmick mixed in but it all feels very smooth to play. There's a few rough patches throughout the game but it's mostly a very smooth ride I thoroughly enjoyed. I don't have a ton to say really, it's just neat :)

A pretty hefty game with a lot of content. It plays largely like an adventure game except without the bosses. The core game has 5 main stages, each with two areas followed by a final stage split into four areas. Each area is distinct in its own way, offering a pretty good amount of variety. Every stage has a secret which is required for the dark areas, which are basically just the main four areas except with extra spikes.
Overall its pretty good - it looks decent and has a lot of content and decent variety gimmick wise. The problem is design-wise, there's a lot of corridors and a lot of repeated formations. This is substantially more noticeable on the dark worlds which did not feel any more interesting, just replaying the game with more generic stuff to fill in the gaps. There's a few exceptions but they are simply that, exceptions. Production is good but beyond the level design, there's so many playability problems that it makes a bumpy ride. Save placement is bad, making some segments where you die repeatedly somewhat annoying. This is exacerbated by the fact that there's a handful of saves that are much more difficult than everything else in the game, making those segments pretty grindy and tedious.
Its worth playing if you want a adventure style needle game, though I'd hesitate to bother with the dark worlds (even the final stage is kind of bad). The needle design is kind of dated, with a ton of repeated 32px placements but its definitely not bad.

Very well made Needle adventure game minus a couple sections. However, it's still very much worth your time for at least any% clear.

A really solid game broken up into 4 worlds and a final stage. Each world has its own look and feel, and a secret is hidden in each one. Finding the secrets unlocks an optional Dark World version of each of the worlds that is much harder. Just an overall nice looking game with good platforming.

Platforming based adventure game. I enjoyed most of the stages and they were usually well designed.
Pros:
-Creative design and interesting use of moving hazards
-Good music and visuals
-Lots of variety
Cons:
-Some sloppy design and balance at parts
-A few buggy things (sideways gravity flippers, first dark world item)

A simple but great needle game. It's pretty long and it's best enjoyed while listening to music or something else.

It's a fairly alright, mostly 32-pixel, mild gimmick needle game with different worlds, secrets, a final stage, and extra dark worlds. While the gameplay itself isn't bad, the game did not feel very inspirational or like it had some cool backstory or overarching objective or anything. "Alright" is truly the best word I can think of to describe most of this game, though I remember the last dark world in particular stuck out to me as having a really cool gimmick.
There were a couple strange things/bugs that occurred to me during my playthrough. First off, I think it's strange that world 1 has a secret but no dark world. Also, when I went into the room for the last world's secret, a trigger automatically went off for some reason that moved the spike blocking the secret collectible, thereby allowing me to grab it almost immediately. And then when I finished the final stage of the game, the first dark world was already completed for me somehow. Still a decent game regardless.
