It's mostly pattern, so it's ok-ish, but many instances you will be taken by surprise and have to learn what to do.
It's Ok for beginners, but there are tons of better starter options out there. This was shockingly uneventful and forgettable, except for the song during the presentation screen, which has been put to better use.
Avoid.

This avoidance is not that good. Extremely repetitive attacks (blues cherries/yellow cherries are both extremely boring and make the half of the fight). You should try the second one, way better in my opinion.
