Extremely well-made fangame. It's a long adventure game that took me over 10 hours to 100% the first time. The game consists of many different worlds to travel to and each world has items and secrets to collect.

Throughout the game you acquire several different, unique and interesting items to help you progress further. It's built like a Metroidvania game where you'll be doing some backtracking once you find certain items that let you continuing advancing throughout the worlds.

The game's difficulty is fairly average. It makes for a relaxed, genuinely fun time to play through it. However, one of the game's few flaws, there are too many traps. Mostly uninteresting ways to kill the player (spike or apple flying out of the wall) and it usually happens at the end of a screen. This flaw and the fact that the music restarts upon death are really the only two things I can think of that keep this game from being truly incredible.

Still, I find this fangame to be one of the best. Definitely on my favorites list.

Adventure game that reminds me a lot of Galaxy. Inventory system, extra stuff that you can collect, really long with lots of different stages, plenty of puzzles, cool visuals and musics, built-in autofire, and you need to collect specific items in order to progress through the game (In Galaxy you need to collect stars, and in this game you need to collect scribbles). Galaxy is a lot more open than this game, but the non-linear structure is more or less the same. This game also has a fair share of Galaxy's drawbacks, including the instructions in japanese (At least this game is mostly self-explanatory. Mostly) and the amount of time it takes to switch between weapons/items. But the main issue I have with this game is the absurd amount of generic traps. Unlike in Galaxy, where they disappear before they can start to become annoying, in this game, it seems that the amount of traps actually increases as you progress through it. Saves become huge grind festivals really quickly, which is a particularly serious issue in a lengthy game like this one. It kills any kind of joy that this game could possibly bring.
Forgetting Galaxy for a while, the bosses are quite fun, although simple-ish. There are also some cool small details, namely the nice sound effects and the drawings that appear in the credits. And the puzzles are mostly well-made, if you forget the traps and the item switching issues.
I really wanted to enjoy this game, but I can't bring myself to think of it as anything other than a fusion between Galaxy and Crimson, where the Crimson portions (Basically the huge amounts of generic traps ruining what could be an enjoyable platforming) really shouldn't exist. Not sure if I would recommend.

This is a decently long adventure game revolving around collecting items/pages and backtracking. I really like the gimmicks and visuals, and the level design was also great, but I think it would have been way better without 80% of the traps. (and non-restarting music.) This game could have been legendary, but instead it's just good. Not saying I don't like this game, because I do.

It's still Carnival's best game by far. The spriting is awesome, the level design is pretty good (excluding traps) and apparently there's a decent story. I really want to recommend this game but it depends on your patience and whether or not you can tolerate being ganked at the end of nearly every save in the game.

I feel this is best left as a tribute to old style adventure games, which isn't a bad thing, it's just a different thing. Phenomenal game though.

Despite the half-decent level designs, this game shows us what trolls must not be like. Seems that creator's understanding of traps still stayed at 7 or 8 years ago.
