This game is a great adventure game with often funny traps that are rarely annoying or just there to be there. I recommend this game to literally anyone

This is a surprisingly great game that has the feel of being much older than it is, seeming like a very classic polished fangame when it's actually straight from 2016.

The game takes inspiration from Megaman, featuring a similar set-up as the Megaman games. As would make sense, the bosses are therefore the highlights of the game, all being rather interesting and enjoyable to fight. The stages themselves are all rather easy and mostly pretty fun, but a bit long. There are also many traps, this being the only sore on the games otherwise-clean skin. Though they can be funny or neat at times. the traps more often than not waste time than make your time more enjoyable. I also took issue with the cubes in the last stage, particularly the exploding ones as they were most often used in a way that made you wait for them instead of anything really interesting.

Otherwise, this is an easily recommendable adventure game in the vein of the older classics.

Kataribe is a nice little adventure game where you get to play as some peculiar little marshmallow-like character, as you venture throughout a variety of relatively short stages and boss fights. Whilst the game has a good amount of stages, none of them overstay their welcome and the bosses don't get too complicated or overly tanky, so the game doesn't end up too lengthy either.

Every stage focuses on a similar style of platforming, this being just standard easy'ish needle with some moving hazards along the way and a sprinkling of traps. There's good variance between stages so that they don't all just feel the same, but don't expect too much to change gimmick-wise. The bosses have some pretty cool visual effects going on despite their simplicity, and the attacks are for the most part all fun to dodge and play around, making for a nice round-off to each stage.

I did find a good deal of the platforming to be kind of forgettable, but that's not to say it was bad necessarily. Moreso, the bosses felt like the main attraction for me, and the platforming was often just a pleasant walk with some traps causing a bump along the way. A fun game overall though, and a good pick for an easier oldschool-y adventure.

This is an exemplar of mediocre adventure game. The platforming is all extremely forgettable, with obnoxious end of save traps, no interesting gimmicks, and enemies/bombs that are just there to make you wait before progressing. The bosses are just as boring, with uninteresting attacks.

Overall, this game is way too long for its own good. It just drags on, with none of the stages being different enough for me to care. The game is just pretty boring the whole way through. I wouldn't recommend this one, there are much better beginner options out there.
