In my opinion this is my most beautiful fangame in part due to the music I used for the game. I would rate it 10/10 but I made it so... It's my magnum opus, although I did release games after it. I consider needle an art form. I consider this game art.

An absolute masterpiece, there is absolutely nothing in this game I don't love. From the fantastic needle that makes the absolute most of what the 32 pixel grid can do, offering a very fun consistency acquisition experience, to the stellar music choices, that make for an overall super compelling concise journey.
This is probably my second favorite fangame; I wish more games were like it.

While the game is certainly distinct in atmosphere and vibe, the gameplay leaves something to be desired, while I don't think the main game is bad I feel like it doesn't do enough to make saves feel different from each other and often feels generic, and a lot of saves are quite imbalanced, focusing their difficulty in a few jumps. The major exception to this is extra, which I think is the highlight of the game for sure. It's a very fun and well put together screen which feels really smooth to play, it's brutally hard but one of the best hard saves out there. My rating for the main game is 6/10 and for the extra is 9/10, usually I'd weight extra higher because it was a bigger percent of the experience, but I think that's unfair since most people will not have the patience to play that screen for as long as it takes to beat it. If you are at the skill level though, I think it's something you should try at least once, it's a lovely screen!

in my wholesome opinion, this game is overrated and I frankly don't get the hype around it. sure the atmosphere is nice and the needle is something I can get behind and enjoy, the music is nice too, but it's nothing too special. definitely a memorable game, but isn't really anything I'd recommend so highly as some people in the reviews here would.
the needle itself is nothing too interesting, with one fairly simple and short precision area that was somewhat more fun, however quite easy - as I first tried a good chunk of the saves in said area. the other consistency needle screens are sometimes flawed - as they have some odd choke-ish jumps. these, realistically speaking, aren't that hard but still leave somewhat of a bad taste in your mouth.

This game has a nice chill vibe to it with plenty of needle to go around. I enjoyed playing through most of it. I couldn't finish due to the 1 save per screen. Just wasn't skilled enough but this is still an amazing game.

Love the interlude stages between screens. Needle has a certain vibe to it found nowhere else but here. Extra beat my ass and I didn't end up clearing it. Rating based on base game plus extra.
