I found the needle in this game to feel super generic, nothing really captivated me in any of the 50 rooms and especially towards the later rooms, I felt the quality gradually got worse. The whole thing felt like it dragged really hard too, when the game only takes like a half hour to beat. Not my thing I suppose.

this game, in my humble opinion, receives far too much praise for what it’s worth. maybe i played a different game from everyone else here, but all i felt was boredom during my short time playing this game. there was just a ton of not really noteworthy or interesting needle with only a handful of outlying rooms which i found marginally more interesting than the rest of this game. i guess if you’re into this sort of thing then go off since it’s not really offensive in any way, with only a few jumps being kind of annoying, i can’t give it too low of a rating

This game stands at the peak of 50 floor vanilla needle games for me. The needle feels really good, and rarely suffers from being basic. There are a number of fun maneuvers, and very rarely does anything feel annoying.
For me, the game is at its lowest in the 15-20 area, where there are multiple awkward saves, and one particularly heinous vstring jump at the end of a save. It was almost enough to make me set the game aside, but I'm glad I pushed on, since it's all uphill from there. After that point, it really felt like the maker grew with each area, creating some really interesting needle by the end. The usage of jtool gimmicks is wonderful, adding some neat pathing and cool jumps that serve to make the game feel less stagnant and boring than other floor games that opt to avoid these gimmicks.
Overall, a easy recommendation for a simple bite of needle, but not really anything special. The game is certainly fun, and well made, but it lacks anything to make it particularly memorable, so it doesn't warrant a higher rating.

Nice music and tilesets that change every 5 floors. Really solid.
