Update: As I understand the game is quite long and not everyone is interested in all of it, there is now a post-game clear save available here which you can place in your AppData\Local\IWBTOP\Data path (similar to any studio game) to use and access whichever areas do interest you.
This is a very lengthy adventure game, intended to provide the player with a wide array of nearly everything that fangames offer including a large variety of platform and boss gimmicks, tied together with a cheesy story of reversed roles where you play as your favorite secondary fangame character (or the kid, for familiarity) seeking solace under the sea.
Requires mouse use for certain situations though none that are time restrictive, and has a couple of optional online features including leaderboards and version checking (available from 1.02 onward).
Current version is 1.21
A new character model is available in 1.21
Those on version 1.1 should update asap as it unfortunately introduced a crash risk.

If you know anything about Ocean Princess, you know that it's long. Unfortunately, I think that length winds up being to the game's detriment. I ultimately think that Ocean Princess would be a better experience if a significant portion of the game was cut out.
The game shines when it's being unique. Stage 4, the trials stage, and the minigames before the final boss are the highlights of the game, as they use super creative gimmicks, many of which I haven't seen before in fangames. I really wish more of the game followed this kind of design, as these stages are some of my favorite fangame stages.
However, the reality is that the majority of the game is uninspired needle. Most of the gimmicks are quite basic, and aren't used in very interesting ways. As an example, one particularly long stage has a multi-jump gimmick and uses it primarily for generic, uninteresting jumps. The game also includes some of the worst dotkid needle I've ever seen. These simple gimmicks can certainly be used well, but I think this game is pretty lacking in terms of its needle design, with many difficulty balance issues and standout awkward jumps. Most of the needle winds up being pretty corridory, and this makes a lot of the stages feel unmemorable.
The bosses are a mixed bag, but by and large they get better as the game goes on. The first few are pretty unpleasant, being quite generic RNG-fests. However, later on the bosses get more unique, and the game winds up having a lot of really cool boss gimmicks that make the bosses feel quite special. Shoutouts to the Vault Snakes, Darkness Avoidance, Beach Chase, and Final Boss for being particularly interesting fights. By the end, I was often looking forward to the bosses, as they provided a pleasant reprieve from needle that was starting to drag on.
Ocean Princess is overall a pretty good experience, and I think it has an incredible experience embedded within. However, there's too much uninteresting platforming that it winds up feeling like unpleasant filler between the cool sections. While I respect the intention of creating a massive adventure game, it winds up feeling like a boring needle game with adventurey bits scattered around. Of course, said bits are really good! The game winds up being a hesitant recommendation, as there's lots here I think you should play, but you have to fight through a lot of weaker parts to get to it.

This review is based on 100%, although it doesn't change my rating at all
This fangame is brimming with content, 12 unique worlds all of which having gimmicks unique to them which don't just show up in their platforming, but also their boss fights. This game has a massive amount of effort put into it, which is always appreciated. The platforming all feels very smooth and the new gimmicks are usually easy to grasp due to the way the stages pace themselves, feeling very natural. This feeling is sorta broken by the bosses, while they are fun I think they are by far the hardest thing in the game. The platforming was pretty tricky but the bosses often felt like they required a good deal of RNG reading ability and precise dodging, which isn't a bad thing, but I'd definitely say they hurt the difficulty curve since it sometimes felt like a stage would be super easy, then have a really hard boss (notably stage 9 and the final stage) That's a minor complaint though, while nothing in the game absolutely blew my mind, it was all great, there's no low points, just a consistently fun fangame I think everyone should try at some point. Great experience! (Also the minigames at the end are cute, kinda remind me of NAMTG)

Review based on version 1.20.
If I had just one thing to say about this game, it would be that Kurath isn't lazy.
Ocean princess is one of the longest game I have played but also probably the most creative one, with 12 worlds full of very original and well used gimmicks you won't see in other fangames. Each world has his atmosphere and a boss, and once again they are all different and creative. I'm not gonna detail each world, each boss or each single gimmick you will encounter but know that even if the game has some tiny flaws, the huge amount of good things easily overcome them and make it a great experience.
I said that Kurath isn't lazy but it's not only because of all the creative content but also because the game has a lot of extra features when you press the pause button like a map, the on going music and a link to dl it or listen to it on yt, etc. The game has also a story but tbh, except at the very end it felt anecdotic.
The game isn't for everyone because its quite hard but if you are experienced enough and like gimmicks, you have to play it.

One of the best looking and well-polished fangames made to date I'm not sure if there was even a single screen or boss that I didn't have fun with. The music is excellent throughout and well suited to all aspects. It's the perfect level of challenge for seasoned fangamers who are fond of the adventure-style with many interesting and difficult jumps that are still fair enough to be able to provide an entertaining and incredibly satisfying speedrun (if you are into that sort of thing). Nearly flawless.
