This is basically a sequel to last year's game, and it doesn't disappoint!
It's quite a meaty adventure game clocking in at 5 stages with bosses (and minibosses).
The overall presentation is exactly what you would expect from Erik. Great artwork, amusing sound effects, and plenty of jokes and references. The humor in this game is really well done actually, with one trap making me laugh out loud. The intro to the game is also top notch. You had me already with the text-to-speech but the writing is, well, so beautiful that it deserves an oscar. No, it deserves two oscars.
Concering the gameplay, there is very little to complain about. The levels are really well made for the most part, following some clever design principles and incorporating the gimmicks well.
As one would expect from Erik, the bosses are very good. The attacks remain interesting while still being fair and keeping the difficulty consistent. I liked the inclusion of minibosses this time, it added a nice touch to the flow of your levels. The best bosses are both in the factory stage, with the miniboss having a really cool dynamic and the main boss being a sick reference and a memorable fight.
I had a lot of fun with this one. Great job as always!

I wanna Travel the Night is just such a well balanced game in terms of everything; music, enjoyability, bosses and everything else. I don't have the time to write out an entire review right now, but I absolutely love how this game is high quality and essentially every regard. It's a decent challenge that feels rewarding when you get past everything and you reach the end.

Beautiful adventure game with some really solid gameplay, the stages feel bitesized meaning there's lots of variety and all of it is quality. The final boss is a little bit weaker than the others, but besides that the quality is consistent. There's some good jokes and references which are funny and entertaining to see, and of course the art style is adorable. I was also a big fan of a lot of the platforming, for an easier game it felt substantial and like there was a good amount of depth, which was fun to play. All in all, a fantastic adventure game!

Erik hits once again, with another charming action-adventure game. Travel the Night is centered around platforming with various enemies scattered around, and bosses/mini-bosses galore. The game is really fun, and in Erik's classic charming artstyle. The bosses are awesome, with some really cool fights. I always love seeing people using enemies, and this was no exception.
On to the negatives: some of the platforming was a little awkward, and maybe a bit too tight compared to the difficulty of most of the game. A lot of the enemies weren't very interesting, and were just time sinks rather than actual threats. The water area had some issues with visibility of projectiles for me. The fish boss was annoying. Finally, I wish the game had played around with more gimmicks like its predecessor, End my Growth.
Overall, this is an easy recommendation. I know I listed several negatives, but they're all minor things, and the game is still very fun. I hope to see more games follow the action-adventure path.

I really love this simple hand-drawn style.
A beautiful adventure game with funny enemies and interesting bosses. It is very similar to other good games by this author , which are also wonderfully made .
Good platforming, only jumping over the square head of the robot on one of the screens is annoying.
