Really really long adventure game that feels like it should have been released in 2012. Has barebones visuals and awkward gimmicks. That being said, it has a lot of charm and the fact it's so long means you get to experience a lot in it. The game gets a step up in difficulty around world 3 and stays around that difficulty with the occasional save that is like 10 times harder than any of the other ones. The music picks are actually pretty good and it's a shame that the game has restarting music (I made a mod for the game that removes this, dm me on discord if you want it).
Bosses are alright. Most of them are bland, some of them are really bad, and a few of them are good. Final boss was okay, but was heavily carried by the song which is really good. Attack design and pacing could have used a lot of work here.
I was left satisfied when I cleared the game on normal after 14 hours (with 3 being spent on final boss). It did leave an impact on me and this will be a game I won't easily forget for a while, but there were a lot of segments I really did not enjoy. With some better quality control and balancing, this could have been a game I would have recommended to anyone seeking a fun adventure game. However there's just a lot of garbage that keeps the game from reaching its full potential.
