A fangame inspired by Crash Bandicoot, it features Crash-like movements, so you only get a single jump and instead of shooting with a gun, you spin around to clear out some snakes and crash some crates. Destroying crates rewards you with delicious fruit, which you can collect on your journey. However collecting this delicious fruit has no purpose. The game uses sprites from Donkey Kong, which is a nice touch. It's very short - you can easily beat it in less than 10 minutes. Also it has no ending and just ends with the level select screen.

A fangame based on Crash Bandicoot, using enemies from Donkey Kong Country. Unfortunately it's inaccurate to the source material in several ways and this really took me out of the game.
1) You cannot bounce higher off of crates by holding the jump key, not even the bouncy arrow ones. This makes the entire game feel "off" and renders many level elements completely pointless, since you cannot use crates as a form of mobility.
2) Nitro crates aren't counted toward the crate total. You might argue that this is a superfluous design element to begin with, since every level in Crash 1-4 with nitro crates provides a detonator at the end anyway, but it still feels wrong if you've played the actual Crash games. Indeed, there are no detonators in this game period, which results in a section where you're required to spin an enemy into nitro crates to collect a crystal; I'm pretty sure nothing like this ever happens in Crash 1-4, and it feels pretty strange here.
3) The snakes and mosquitos cannot be jumped on (they simply kill the Kid upon collision), which is inaccurate to their behavior in DKC and doesn't really make a whole lot of sense either way.
4) Not really a problem per se but it's disappointing that the time trial challenges don't feature time-stopping crates like in the original. The relics aren't actually supposed to be collectibles within the stage itself either.

faithful fangame recreation of the crash bandicoot games. while I'm personally not a fan, I don't mind this game. it's quite a short game with some very easy platforming and some collecting to do if you're interested. the inclusion of enemies is somewhat interesting, I suppose. biggest personal gripe is the lack of doublejump, but that might just be because you don't have doublejump in the crash bandicoot games anyway
