EDIT: the game has been updated to a much more reasonable difficulty curve and the final boss is no longer insanely hard with the new update. I can highly recommend it as a good beginner game now.
old review from 1.0 is below
this game is incredibly high quality and honestly would be THE fangame to give to beginners to play. The floors are all great, the bosses are fun and usually fair, the gimmicks are well designed, and the production value blends well with the general aesthetic without looking out of place like some over-produced games tend to look.
However, the final boss is so poorly made i cannot give this game the 9 i was originally going to give it. The final boss consists of shooting 2 hands that are blocking your way, but they are placed so high up you have to double fulljump to hit them, which gets painful very fast. the other major problem with this is that constantly full djumping puts you in awful spots to dodge bullets meaning you either take the fight very slowly or just accept you are going to be put in positions where you have no way to live constantly. on top of this, the hands you have to shoot have absurdly high hp, so it takes really fucking long to kill them even when going recklessly aggressive on damage. to add to this shitfest, the rng has no balancing at all, and is isnt even remotely rare to get a solid wall. and by wall I do not mean the kind where you couldve dodged if you read the pattern faster, i mean a straight up solid wall that TAS couldnt even get through. Additionally, the hands are shooting their own bullets that are pure black which means they are really fucking hard to see when everything has a huge black outline that blends with the bullets. To top it all off, once you kill the hands and get to the platforms to shoot the actual boss from, you have to shoot him from a spot really close to the edge of the screen which means 1 of the randomly chosen attacks can just randomly instagib you with no warning, and another attack goes from really easy to insanely difficult.
i cannot in good faith recommend you play the final boss of this game but I can recommend that you play up until it, because everything before the final boss is top notch

Panasonic Bluray is a very enjoyable romp through a series of stages akin to an X_Floor game. The graphic design, flow, and music in the game are standout and create a unique and fun experience. Stage 5 was by far the best with great feeling platforming, a terrific vibe and clear inspiration from another wonderful adventure and needle game.
I played this post-nerfs which definitely made the experience better. The game's biggest flaws are an inconsistent difficulty which can shoot up and down per screen, and some strange choices of gimmicks and needle jumps. Overall though it holds up well throughout and was very much worth playing.
This game does however fall into the trap of being accessible to beginners at the start and then shooting up in difficulty way too fast for new players to be able to handle. I recommend this game for intermediate beginners who are okay with some tougher needle screens to grind on.

Edit: The needle is much smoother than my initial review and it holds up a lot better on a replay. (7.5 to 8.0 rating change)
First half was way better than the second. I don't think the needle is very fun because it has a bunch of really small annoyances to me. I'm pretty sure KG will watch my vod of my playthrough though so I won't talk about it much here. I still would recommend this though. Pretty fun overall, especially if you aren't as picky about needle as me. The game is almost there but has some minor annoyances that really hold it back from being truly fantastic imo.

This game is a fun adventure game which is neither easy for beginners nor too hard. Reminds me of Kill the Kermit games, which I honestly love. First version of the game had some moments that may ruin your fun, but latest version is nerfed and fine.
