Solid, short needle game with a lot of variety in the platforming and a strange flow, mostly built around standard gimmicks but with a handful of surprises along the way. Definitely appreciate the fact that for a needle game, you're not really sure whats beyond the next screen.
Production is basic, but interesting enough, and the platforming is fun and varied. Definitely achieves something most needle games don't by standing out on its own.

This is what I consider "chocolate" needle as opposed to "vanilla", mainly because it feels completely different than what is normally produced but manages to have this variation without relying on any gimmicks, it's all just standard stuff placed in super unique ways. Being able to accomplish this is a feat in itself, so I think the game has already made a good mark.
Outside of this, there are other little additions to the game as well, such as moving objects that can kill, beautifully intricate designs in the tiling, and other special decorations that really add atmosphere to the game. Also as the title implies, it feels perfectly designed with speedrunning in mind, so overall it's a pretty damn good game.
Highly recommended if you want to have a unique time with standard stuff.

If you're wondering whether it's worth your time to try this after having cleared Duloxetine in either difficulty, the answer is YES. Almost every edit made with respect to the originals is an improvement (except the ridiculously long save between stages 1 and 2 ).
