I'm surprised this has such a low rating with such great potential. This is a short demonstration of an incredibly fun and well produced medley game, with 4 stages and 3 bosses, and it's definetly better than what I've seen people often try with this genre.

The game and screen picks are a very nice mix of iconic classics with often overlooked gems, and this lets the variety in its design really shine through. These aren't pure needle screens with little to offer, but rather a highlight reel of amazing ideas that have inspired and influenced so many others in this niche. Really only one stage had a few more difficult and vanilla screens later down the line, but it never personally stained the experience.

The bosses don't usually let me down too much in medleys, and it ain't different here. All the different attacks flow very well into each other, even with the good old avoidance cutaways in the middle. One of them was quite unfitting and more learny than it should really be, placed right at the end of the Co-op Flandre boss. Rude!! Hopefully it gets changed or nerfed somehow in future versions.

Overall, unexpected drop, and a surprising one at that for what's otherwise just an unfinished medley game. Usually just that sentence is enough to drive away most players from it, but I do recommend giving it a shot, the quality and variety in it really make it worth your time, and I hope the creator doesn't abandon this project, or leave it in the dust from the seemingly poor reception at the start. Really enjoyed it!

Pretty cool although the last stage takes a dip with some really questionable screen picks. Nothing special, but it's nice to see a new medley game with more modern game picks.

The majestic kid is a new medley in a similar spirit and structure to the classics of old, with a few modern screenpicks and lower diffcurve to freshen the experience a bit.

The screen picks feature a few many traps for my taste, especially considering how easy they are otherwise. However, aside from that, there isn't really room to complain about the individual screens chosen. The blend of modern and old classics does not really work for me, since the old trapventures clash jarringly with modern gimmick needle, and it would likely be better had there been a neater organization of screen picks. The fact that there are multiple stages can allow for stages to be focused on style rather than difficulty, which I think would have done the game a service. Still, it was decently enjoyable overall.

The bosses, on the other hand, are some of the worst I've played in a medley. Maybe that's due to the fact that in every single other medley I've tried, I either had a video to assist me or was playing it online, however they still felt much more learny than the usual medley boss (in a bad way) while having a much less engaging core experience. The boss pacing seems to have a knack for starting and ending the boss with really awkward segments while having the space inbetween filled with much easier/simpler content with a smattering of instagibs. Boss 1 ending was a constant worry about not getting got by the janky-looking hitboxes, while boss 2 ended in one of the most boring and annoying patterns to execute in the fight followed by an avoidance that's full of instagibs, after which I have decided that this is not worth my time.

If you think the idea of a modern easier medley sounds good, just play Kill the AWSL instead. I would not recommend this blind, and would be cautious to recommend it even with video.

Maki, I really like your medley fangame "The Majestic Kid". I like all of your stages including the way you designed the title cards. Could you please find a way on how to delete all of your save data if you want to start the game all over again and add name tags to the bosses to let people know what fangames they are from? Otherwise, a pretty decent medley fangame. I would rate Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 with 5 stars while Stage 4, I would rate 3 stars because "I Wanna Break Through Seven Trials" and "I Wanna Be The Noesis" are like too hard..
