My new epistle, having experienced the game:
Dearest delicious-fruit review readers,
I have finally gotten the chance to experience "i wanna eat pizza" firsthand. I unfortunately have very mixed feelings on its execution. The first stage has some very awful, no-good traps that last forever and make you wait, and when you aren't waiting the movement you do to dodge is rather basic and uninteresting. The quiz was OK at best, a lot of the answers were easy but others require you to know inside jokes most players outside the maker's community will not know (the readme has the answers thankfully). The medley section was relatively decent, but I'm pretty sure the screens are unchanged from the originals. There is a chase sequence and boss that are original though. The chase sequence is in a really big room that lags which can be very frustrating if it happens in the middle of jump. The boss is pretty swell and is mostly OK, one of the summoned goons the boss summons is kind of unreasonable and you basically have to go behind him to kill him without getting owned and the others can catch you off-guard when they spawn the first time. The final stage is a short Pizza Tower-inspired stage that is pretty barebones and feels rather rushed.
Overall, I think this interactive entertainment module is rather mixed in quality and is not one I would recommend to most of the dear readers of this missive. I do however, see promise in the potential skill of this maker and wish to see more projects from them further down the line.

I wanna eat pizza is a game that could be a decent adventure game, but it has a lot of crazy design choices that really hold the game back.
The positives:
The cutscenes between each area are kinda hilarious in a surreal way, you would just have to see them to know what I mean. It has a medley section. Medleys are fun, although this medley is mostly needle. The quiz section wasn't terrible, but a lot of the questions either make no sense (what did the 9/11 question even mean), are an inside joke, or require you to be familiar with another fangame (ie: recognizing a random floor in cn2).
The negatives:
The trap section is quite evil. The traps are somewhat humorous, but one of the sections literally requires you to wait 30 SECONDS (i counted) to have an attempt at a sequence of 6 unreactable precise jumps. It is extremely painful, and I have no clue how that kind of player unfriendly design comes about. The medley section, as mentioned before, is EXTREMELY needle centric, and it isn't really good needle either (one of the sections has you backtrack through a bunch of super boring jumps like 4 times). The final area is extremely barebones, but at least it is really easy. The boss also has no iframes, so I just autofired because why are we not putting iframes in bosses in 2025 ;-; mashing is unfun.
Also I should note that the readme states that if you don't like it, don't comment. But that's kinda silly, feedback is an extremely important part of improving as a maker and delfruit has a review system for a reason...
I don't know if I can recommend this game, but it was kinda unique. I am sorry for the negative review.
