Another avoidance made by me, this time with the song "Blastix Riotz" by Camellia.
I made this game based on I Wanna Be The Burst and I Wanna Requiem, which means an impossibly hard barrage made much easier by an abundance of HP. I hope you like it.

Unusual attempt in creating clown-fiesta HP avoidance, like 'I wanna requiem' and 'I wanna be the Burst'. The resemblance and inspiration from the latter is quite evident already by the title, gameplay and aesthetics. The only difference is that this game does not try to be like 'I Wanna Kill The Kamilia 3' guest areas (which was evident aesthetic in 'I wanna be the Burst'), but instead leans in the area of 'I Wanna Kill The Shadowlink', and to be more precise - of Ultragamer's area. You can see that by visuals, the title card, and the portal room.

However, the gameplay is quite far from resembling 'I Wanna Kill The Shadowlink', and instead is very reminiscent of 'I wanna be the Burst' as I have mentioned earlier. You can see crazy dense attacks, which are barely readable or straight up impossible. Or you can meet with attacks that can easily tank half of your HP if you are not careful enough.

For the first work in Game Maker Studio 2, I found this to be quite smooth. There is one small moment where everything feels laggy (and seems like intentional) and it is a bit odd: https://youtu.be/DdkLxCGQCBE?t=114. Other than that I liked new ideas of visuals that accompanies the avoidance, as well as many attacks that reminded me of the original. You can see that game was inspired from 'I wanna be the Burst', but author still leaves their own mark in the game, which I did appreciate.

Gameplay wise this game reminded me both of 'I wanna be the Burst' and 'I wanna be the Burst(2015)'. On the one hand there a lot of attacks where you need to dodge as best as you can and you cannot just tank. For example, there is a slower part of the song, which is a thing which was not present in 'Bangin' Burst' avoidances, and you have possibilities to dodge as best as you can. Or, for example, the pre-finale where you actually can try read diagonals quite well.

But on the other hand, there are bunch of attack where I felt like the best strategy was just to stand on one spot and do damage control. This is what I felt like when infinite jump started. However, unlike 'I wanna be the Burst(2015)' where I had to do damage control on a lot of attacks, here it felt like a smaller part of the gameplay.

Difficulty wise this game is harder than both of lily games. Is that bad? Probably not. But you need to be aware of that, because this game does require quite tight dodges, and you won't get much of free HP to tank at the end. I am also not very sure if I am underrating this game difficulty wise, since it is very hard to rate how much strategy, luck, skill or damage control can change the difficulty.

I had died several times near the end, and I did get frustrated, but surprisingly I could get better quite quickly, so that was a fun thing.

If I had to choose the segment I liked the least, then it surely would be the segment from here: https://youtu.be/DdkLxCGQCBE?t=76 until 1:30. I liked the attack before and how much skill-based it is, but this one felt way too RNG-based. I had points where I felt like I could just damage control and stand still in one or few spots, instead of trying to dodge that. I did not find the good strategy here, so it always ended up being a bit annoying of an attack to me.

Also: https://youtu.be/DdkLxCGQCBE?t=108 this moment is confusing as well. You will be instagibbed unless you know a priori what to do. And also when I first got there I was like: 'Do I still have infinite jump or not, I wonder?'. I wish this attack was prepared a bit better for those who play blind. The very finale can instagib you, but at least you have room to react, whereas here if you decide to drop down to the ground, then you are just instantly dead, basically.

There are also moments that I initially did not find appealing, just to enjoy them in the end, like this: https://youtu.be/DdkLxCGQCBE?t=46

Anyway, while I had my own frustrations, the more I played, the more I started to enjoy it. So, if you feel like it is annoying for you, then give it another 10-30 minutes of tries and see how it goes then.

I am not sure if I would recommend this game to a complete beginner. 'I wanna be the Burst' was my 16th fangame and I have beaten it in 2 hours. I cannot imagine how much this game would took me, had it existed back in 2017. It all depends on how much my difficulty estimate is wrong.

If you do have some skill in fangames and avoidances, then sure why not. Game has pretty cool design and can be fun to play. It has been more than 11 years since the release of original lily's game and more than 10 years since its 2015 edition. I think it is a good successor. Also probably author's best avoidance?

Anyway, yeah I would recommend this.
