Pretty good avoidance in classic style of Marimario. Patterns were all enjoyable, but some RNG seems to be bullshit sometimes, even tho it's not that big of a deal. Juicy overall, i had fun with this by playing blindly

rating based on god
ancient precision game with a few rather iconic screens. it has a fairly low tech requirement, only requiring one somewhat difficult cancel at the end. it’s the plane urethra with one pixel you can stand on that requires said cancel. this is only on god difficulty, though. the other two (normal and maniac) are under 50 and are generally very easy. the difficulty select for god is definitely a thing I haven’t seen in a while. a bunch of japanese text on a background with one warp. it’s reminiscent of old eastern games which I kinda like. tileset on god difficulty is quite ugly, but it’s a charming kind of ugly which I enjoy

A lot of bonking to avoid, especially the ceiling screen since I kept for getting that there was one in this.
Saves are pretty lengthy so it could get on a few nerves if some bonking happens late ina save.

Sequel that feels a bit more balanced with the stages.
But I think going from left to right would be the ascending order of difficulty.
Left is pretty simple, middle is a bit unbalanced with the difficulty, right is overall more difficult with very little break in the difficulty aspect.
The bosses were a nice breather, very simple to pass compared to their respective platofrming section.
