Honestly the first 3 games of this series were funny. They were bad, but kinda fun to mindlessly play.
This one is just bad. There is barely any fun needle, and even doing it mindlessly there is so many rooms with the sort of snake pathing that clearing a room takes forever, then repeating that same room around 80-200 times is just a huge time waste.
There is also a few quite offensive screens, particularily the 16px screen where you can have fun doing literal thousands of 16px gaps. As well as the big rooms at the end in which he unfortunately found the 8/possibly even 4 pixel grid and every 3rd jump is squished.
The final room is also hard,but at least somewhat fun.
All in all, he just doesn't have it in him anymore to make some mindless "fun" with this formular

70+ difficulty RNG avoidance in a 50 difficulty adventure, zero fucks given. Very unfortunate because the rest was palatable despite its age. Every stage has a secret for a total of 6 secrets, but 4 of them are impossible to get with one of them softlocking you if you save inside because the warp at the end is broken. Thankfully these aren't required to beat the game, so just skip them.
I'd play any other Sasanoke game over this, it only gets better every release after this game.
