Very well made trigger flow needle game. Game is very learny, but very few jumps are difficult so the game is actually more accessible than it initially appears to be. The flow is very nice and it was a great pleasure to play through. One of my favorite "needle" games if you can even consider it that.

You know what this reminds me of? Irritating Stick for the PS1.
If you don't know what that is, It's a game based on a segment from the game show "ウッチャンナンチャンの炎のチャレンジャーこれができたら100万円!!" and what it is basically is that you have to maneuver a metal rod through a metal maze. If the rod touches the maze, you get shocked and lose. The game for the PS1 is based on that. What surprises me about the game is that it was localized for the West despite the original show being never translated. So they removed all branding, rerecorded the commentator's dialog (oh yeah, there was a commentator in both the game and the real game show), and made up a new (terrible) name. I have no clue why they did this but I suppose that's the magic of that era. Publishers were more willing to give smaller lower-budgeted strange foreign games a chance (a good example is Incredible Crisis, also for the PS1). That era ended when the 7th generation started and games started to become more expensive which left most strange games either in the country they originated in or as smaller independent releases. I do think we're coming back to that era now with how easy it is to get into game development and release something on a big platform like Steam.

128-Up is really improving each game they make. The gimmicks used in this game are pretty standard, but they are all used really well and almost every save flows great. I also thought the stages had decent lengh and were fun to do, and the bosses were fun as well so definitely give this a go.
