I had this game in my play-later list for so long, and finally completed this! i adore this game, the atmosphere is dark and meditative, the needle was very fun and creative, i loved the music choices and the art of course, the visuals are amazing. I was very immersed in the game until i got to the penultimate screen, the second save, FUCK that save, really, i was progressing very fast for my standars (im not that good at needles) and then got to this save and spend +1 hour and still cant beat that dogshit of a save, i was very frustrated, then i realised you can skip that shit and go straigh to the save which is above and completed the game right after that, that was my only gripe tbh. Ignoring that, this is one of my favorites fangames.

The platforming is super chill and honestly the game manages to have a strong sense of identity in the form of it's visuals and the way everything is arranged. The avoidance I have mixed thoughts about, I like a lot of things about it but a lot of attacks are pattern when they look like RNG, and I think this works against the avoidance, it would probably be more fun with some extra randomness to make the more empty attacks more interesting. It's not bad but I definitely think it has potential to be better, especially since there's really neat ideas like the minigames in the middle of the fight. Worth playing for sure.

This game is genuinely hilarious, it's really bad but honestly none of it is like annoying, it's just a poorly made game with hilarious segments and often times complete nonsense. It's really enjoyable for what it is, if you like sudoku you'll probably love it.

Short stages which usually have just one save per screen, it's mostly simple, sticking to pretty bare bones mechanics built into the engine like vines and the such. The final stage lacks some clarity on a few things, there's a save where it looks like a squished gate is required by some spikes move so you can get around, and there's also a trigger you need to shoot which is a bit confusing. The boss is also pretty dumb, if you've beaten it you know why. Decent but forgettable.

Kinda just an uninteresting game, the gorilla is iconic of course but beyond that nothing really sticks out, it's sorta just a very basic game with mildly annoying traps and hyper basic design. Extra avoidance is kinda fun but also just the same attack for 2.5 minutes.

fun little game, it's biggest issue is easily being unfinished and therefore it doesn't get to truly blossom into it's fullest potential, but what does exist is pretty cool and fun. The icy castle with jump refreshers was my favorite part, but I basically enjoyed everything.

Yet another phenomenal game by Wonderful. If you've played her other offerings, you probably know what to expect! That is to say, super fun needle, creative bosses, and phenomenal incorporation of "real music". Compared to Kermit 2, this doesn't evolve too much in terms of abstract design principles, however the quality feels like night and day (which is saying a lot cause Kermit 2 is already a very good game)!
The game, like it's predecessor, goes through 3 hubs, each with a variety of stages. The stages typically incorporate some small gimmicks, although sometimes it's just vanilla needle with some cycles or triggers. One of the standouts in the gimmick department is a very interesting stage in hub 1, where you have a limited amount of jump time. This stage is super interesting to figure out. The final stage has an interesting gimmick where blocks can only be used once, creating some super cool pathing and unique movements.
The bosses are a major highlight, although one that's much easier than the platforming. I do wish they were a bit harder, especially the final boss, as it had such creative attacks I wish it lasted longer. Wonderful makes really cool bosses that really break the mold a lot of the time.
I could gush on and on about the other stages I loved, and the bits I thought were a little weaker, but I ultimately think others have already said everything much better than I can. Go read Marc's review to see how this game elevates itself to "art" status. This is a beautiful game that has a lot of stuff that I didn't even touch on here.
Seriously, play this if you're at the right level.
