This review is based on getting the "True End"
Super interesting game, for me personally the gameplay wasn't anything super special but that's not to say it was bad at all, it was consistently enjoyable, although I think this game holds more value as an atmospheric experience than a gameplay one, and in that regard it was really good! It's a good time and exploring the bite sized stages for secrets was really enjoyable, the game is very strange but in a good way. Recommended, especially if you value visuals and music heavily when you play a game.

6 stages of gimmick needle even including some gimmicks that aren't used often. Great immersive visuals and song picks too. Final stage has sort of long saves and ends on a longer one so be prepared for that.
We need more games like this.

Quite an enjoyable beginner needle game. I would even go so far as to say this may be the perfect introduction to gimmick needle. It has relatively simple gimmicks, a focus on flowy movement rather than precision, and some basic pathing puzzles to get a new player thinking about that kind of thing. Of course, a good beginner game is a good game for anyone. Experienced players can probably beat this in under 15 minutes, meaning there's no reason not to give it a spin.

Rin is really fun tbh, can recommend fon anyone who love oldschool pattern avoidances
Miku is decently okay. Song is nice, attacks are really hard to adapt, but once you did it, it will be very consistent avoidance
Gumi is quite awful. It would be okay, if not the dumb ending and RNG segments that can completely destroy you. Not fan of the music as well
Needle areas were okay, but nothing to really say about them. They were kinda spoiled with 1f required jumps. I liked them probably in that order: Pre-Gumi (Volcano) > Pre-Rin (Physics) > Pre-Miku (Ice)
In general, this game not aged well and i can't really recommend it. It's still not the worst sample of classic design and it has some revolutionary ideas for it's time, but nothing to truly appreciate here nowadays

Sequel/Spiritual successor to I wanna be the Baffling. I didn't finish it because I had no idea what I wanted it to be.
