More seriously, as a submission for the Shortventure contest, the production value is honestly astonishing. While it's already really appreciated when games made for the event manage to be finished in time, Escape the Mansion goes far beyond that. With hand-drawn tiles, an captivating even though short story, and EVEN VOICE ACTING, the game offers an amazing horror experience, that could easily stand up to the other games of this genre that didn't have any deadline restriction.
Moreover, the boss and credits make a great conclusion for such an enjoyable fangame, and, if I had to be honnest, my initial complaint about the game not being long enough isn't justified, and I think its short length, while probably leaving a somewhat anticlimactic feeling for most people, also contributes to the game's charm and identity, as a short adventure you go through without any expectations, but turns out to be both great and enjoyable right up to the very end.

As a preface, while it didn't affect my rating, it's worth noting I was relatively disappointed by this game as I went into it expecting something a lot less conventional than what it is. With the name and the insane makers list, I was quite interested in this game, but in reality it's just a hard needle collab of mostly vanilla needle.
At the end of the day my biggest issue with this game is a lack of identity, the only stages that really feel distinct are the final two and I don't even think they are very good, just different. Lots of kinda annoying jumps scattered about, in some ways it reminds me of CN1 but it's also much more reserved. The game just doesn't really have any personality which is a shame, because there's nice things about this game, it just is far too simplistic and doesn't benefit from that simplicity to be interesting in my opinion. Even removing my expectations and judging it for what it is, I do not recommend this game.

A cute little trap game. Prismocean features some seriously funny traps, including a couple that I couldn't stop laughing at. Unfortunately, some of the platforming is more annoying than anything else, particularly in the latter screens. This part of the game felt more annoying than funny for a lot of it. The boss is pretty good, but nothing special. There are secrets, but I only got the one that was in the open, so they seem to be pretty cryptic.
Overall, this is a decent recommendation, with the first few saves being a must play trap experience. Unfortunately the rest is harder to recommend, and with the game being this short it might not be worth downloading for what amounts to a few minutes of 10/10 traps.
