A short mess of a game that would feel just as comfortable under the sudoku umbrella as the needle one. The visuals are so bad it feels incomprehensible that they weren't an intentional joke, and the needle itself is horrible, filled with generic jumps. In particular, multiple saves end with diamonds, or keyboard dependent low jumps, making the saves super chokable (this is often after several diagonals or a corner). In addition, the game has 10s of dickspikes, and loves this particular horrible little jump, where you have to bonk from the side of a dickspike under an apple.
Overall, I would almost recommend this game, simply so you can witness the sheer catastrophe that it is.

This review is based on a clear of the Good Ending
As far as I'm concerned with atmosphere and music, this game is top tier, but don't let that detract from the gameplay. The platforming is smooth and incorporates some really fun gimmicks, most are stuff you'll probably have seen before if you are familiar with gimmick needle, but there's still some unique concepts and it's all quite smooth. Not every save is a total winner but there's also no losers here, it's consistent quality and fun. If you chose to go for the good ending, there's a cute medley section with some fun avoidances at the end, which to me was quite fun despite what other people have said, so play it at your own risk. It at least lets me transition into talking about the two bosses, which are quite nice, and definitely appreciated to help the pacing of the game. All in all, fantastic stuff here.

Wonderful Rush is truly, honestly, one of the most beautiful avoidances I've ever played, from the incredibly varied patterns, a gorgeous song, great choreographed pattern sequences that make the whole thing feel so cohesive, and a wonderfully cheery atmosphere with cute pastel cherry colors, it's a very pretty game, but none of that matters if the game isn't fun. I'm sure many will dismiss this as RNG trash, or more likely, Instagib trash, but to me, this is an absolutely wonderful pattern avoidance, the patterns are all consistent, with none feeling like it's random if you can get them or not, and they feel amazing to learn and master. There's so many visually interesting ones that are super fun to play and the learning process isn't that bad, as there's a high amount of consistency for nearly everything.
The biggest blemish on the game is easily the RNG, while some RNG attacks are perfectly fair and fine, some are just blatantly unfair, and will kill your attempt randomly. To me, this is a very minor issue, as for the most part you aren't gonna destroyed by RNG all that often, but it does happen, and sucks even if you can reach the part you died to very easily. All in all, while this is an issue, it hardly affects my score.
At this point, I've accepted that my taste in fangames is weird, I think most people would look at this avoidance in disgust, but to me, this is one of the best fangame experiences I've had, I never was mad or upset, and was just vibing the entire time. To me, Wonderful Rush feels like a work of art, and a dance through intricate cherry patterns that I'll probably never forget.
