I discovered this game while browsing Delicious Fruit's main page when I knew nothing about fangames or the community. I just wanted to play Boshy T.T
But for some reason, this game, "I Wanna Stop the MELTDOWN," caught my attention, perhaps because of the appealing colors it has. Since I had no idea what the difficulty scale meant, I didn't expect this fangame to be much harder than "I Wanna Be the Guy" and decided to give it a try. This fangame was tough, and reaching the next save was quite a challenge for the me of two years ago. But even though I shouldn't have tackled games of this difficulty at that time, I wouldn't give up because I really wanted to see what else this game had to offer. I enjoyed every bit of this adventure, and when faced with the choice between a needle section or a boss, I would always play both because I didn't want to miss any content. It took me ages to beat the heart boss, but I would have never considered skipping it because I knew I would never forgive myself if I didn't complete the fangame in its entirety. MELTDOWN was such a unique experience, and I've replayed it many times since my first clear. I can say without any doubt that this game is the reason I'm still playing fangames two years later.
