A fun classic adventure game that I found to be seriously underrated. Western House features four areas, each with a few different gimmicks. The gimmicks were used quite well, creating some enjoyable screens that feel novel, despite the simplicity of the gimmicks. Nothing really overstays its welcome, and the game is constantly giving you new things to play with. The bosses are fun, and use the gimmicks from their stages to create unique fights. The final boss uses attacks inspired by the previous 4, creating a fun fight that has a variety of attacks involving different gimmicks.
The game is pretty heavy on the traps, and they're all very old school. Despite this, I found myself laughing out loud from some of them, something incredibly rare for a fangame this old. It understands how to make simple traps a surprise, without becoming an annoyance.
Overall, this game is highly recommended for fans of classic adventure games. I would encourage you to not be deterred by the low average score, I found this game to stand on the same level as other well regarded games from this era.

Super brutal avoidance, both in the learning and RNG department. There's so many really complicated attacks which require you to spend a lot of time getting used to how they work, along with adapting to randomness which can force you to improvise entire strategies for some attacks. I really wanna hone in on the RNG because it's the games biggest flaw but also something I think is interesting about it, while it can be annoying to get consistently shut down by bad luck on a couple key moments, it can lead to some really incredible dodges and a game which never quite gets stale because of how varied it plays between attempts. The game is certainly made by the randomness even if it will be a breaking point for some. There's only one attack I don't like, the black spirals in the choruses. The rest is really fun and interesting to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed this game despite some annoyances. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it, but at least look at it once, it's really cool for what it is.

Fun and short beginner adventure game. The platforming is quite well done, with some cool maneuvers that take advantage of the gimmick. There's also a boss that can be a little bit annoying, but it's also pretty fun and I wouldn't say it significantly detracts from the game. Overall, a nice quick game that's easy to recommend, particularly for beginners.
