The traps/platforming were well done, leaning more into trigger needle than into humor, but I happen to enjoy that. There's only one particular save where I felt the dodges were a bit too precise.
The production value is very good, in particular the boss, which is the highlight of the game. I have a few nitpicks about it - in the avoidance segment, the yellow mask feels either free or it can wall you, while in the boss segment, the yellow mask punisher should be harder in the second half.
Those are just minor flaws that don't really take much away from my enjoyment of Cloudburst, which I would certainly recommend to adventure/trap enjoyers.

First half was amazing and production value is good, but during the first water 3 stage, the experience started to sour, to the point that it unfortunately hasn't been a lot of fun past that point. I will say that there are final saves of stages that end in a funny skill check section (the main reason i'm stopping for now on second to last stage) and for this reason I would recommend being significantly above the skill level for this game. This might be just that my mindset has been kinda trash for the last year or so, but at the same time, I figure that I'd share my experience for people around the same level as I am.
EDIT: Finally cleared. Mindset was better, and I enjoyed final stage. Skill check on second to last stage wasn't as bad as i thought, but not sure what other people around my level might think about it

Atrocious one-jump game with no concept of difficulty-balance or quality-of-life concerns like autosaving.

Rating based on using a hint for one of the jumps. The jumps are all pretty fun, and mechanically simple to execute once you understand the approach the game takes: minimal stuttering mid-jump, clear align indicators, and consistent inputs (1f, fulljump). There are some creative usages of platforms in a non-aids way, such as the platform snap 4.5 jump and the walkoff that follows. Used in a longer save they would be irritating, but in this one-jump-per-save format, you can't really get stuck on them for long.
Would definitely recommend to needle players.

Rating based on 100%. Normal End would be 67 diff.
A pretty fun old-school adventure with some setbacks from old engine jank. It feels like a prequal to Galaxy with the star collecting and the final boss being "The World." This also means that the water was annoying, which made the ice and lava world kinda unbearable. Almost all the stars were easy to grab because they were just hidden behind a wall. Break the Targets was the hardest star to get because you need to shoot 25 or more targets to get it instead of the 20 needed for the key. The bosses were pretty annoying at time. Ultima Weapon takes a pretty long time to beat. Normal final boss is fun, but it's just the Galaxy final boss. True final boss was the hardest fight in the game due to how many bullets you have to dodge. Yet, I really enjoyed my time with this one. But I only recommend this game if you really like Sureiru's other works like "I wanna be the Galaxy"
