For: I wanna Last Scqall Love

A pretty solid short and slow paced avoidance. The hardest part is learning the spinning star in water part, but it's easy once you do figure it out. This does mean however, that everything before that point just feels like 1 minute of waiting, but I still felt like there was enough to keep me engaged. I also especially like that the avoidance starts immediately, therefore minimizing the amount of time it takes to get back to the water star pattern as much as possible. The RNG in the water part is also really good. I 2nd tried it but it felt pretty fun to dodge.

So overall it's solid, but it does lack replayability since everything before the water isn't that fun once you've done it a few times.

For: I Wish to Receive a Message

An incredible needle game inspired heavily by CN 2.5. This was a submission to the "Alternate Reality" gamejam, and while it doesn't stick tooo close to that theme, it's a wonderful needle game in its own right. The gimmicks are simply incredible, they're really creative and they're used well to create segments that flow well and are super fun to play. There were a few points where I got worried, for example with fast moving block cycles (something I almost always find really awkward), but the game proved me wrong by making these segments work really well, without a hint of awkwardness. There was one particular screen with really cool visuals, you'll probably know it when you see it. Even decisions which felt strange at first, such as the whip for your weapon, and the unusual screen size, paid off to create some unique design that isn't present in more traditional games.

Overall, this is an instant recommendation for fans of gimmick needle. The game blew me away with it's creativity, as well as the sheer enjoyment present. Despite the difficulty being a bit high, it never felt out of place, and everything felt perfectly balanced and approachable.
