Seeing dosuxu release a game again after seven years left me incredibly excited, and I downloaded and played it immediately. But the actual experience left me disappointed.
The game is lengthy, but the experience isn't particularly great—just passable. What stuck with me most were the frustrating traps that sometimes appeared right when you were about to clear a stage. I also have to say the game severely lacks innovation—truly, it's sorely lacking. Many of the game designs, terrain layouts, and gimmicks have been used before in dosuxu's previous games—and even repeated multiple times within this game itself—leaving me feeling aesthetically fatigued. The entire game feels like a mashup and rearrangement of dosuxu's previous titles and other famous Japanese adventure games. I even suspected they were reheating old ideas due to a lack of inspiration. The gimmicky fruit circles and fruit in harmonic motion motifs permeate the entire design. The boss battles were generally enjoyable—except for the final boss Hatsune Teto—yes, I think that's the name she should have. I genuinely advise against taking boss design cues from Metamorphosis.
Unless you're genuinely passionate about Japanese adventure games, I wouldn't recommend playing this one.
