An intriguing little game, that has become rather influential for jokey games these days. As the first of its kind, it suffers from some pitfalls that have been improved upon by later variants, however it's still quite fun! The randomly placed obstacles force some interesting movements, and it's enjoyable to try to get through a layout that's only barely possible! The biggest issue is the lack of a safe zone around the spawn. On a lot of screens that leads to having to do several restarts because an object spawns on you before you get a real attempt. There is an auto-save, but it doesn't work if you spawn in an object, so you'll occasionally have to redo screens. However, the game is still very fun, and despite having only basic gimmicks, has some really interesting ideas for rooms, especially towards the end. I thought this game would wind up only having merit as a piece of history, but ultimately I found it a worthwhile experience on its own.

Decently enjoyable fangame with an emphasis on traps that change the way you have to complete the save. Most of the platforming is alright, though there are a lot of generic jumps you'll have to do that make it feel a bit plain at times. Those traps are pretty neat compared to the maker's other games, though sometimes they can be near the end of saves making it quite a hassle. The bosses are fun, the last one in particular has a few exciting attacks that make it a step above most of their other boss fights.
Would recommend it if you like older adventure games with a simplistic style.

The toughest attacks are all at the end, and several of the earlier attacks (white bouncing, yellow targeted circles) are practically free.
The vertical white->red->blue fruit attack went on for way too long, especially given how easy it is. Even with the random360 directional change afterward, it still felt like a waiting period.
I didn't like the spinning screen attack at all, and I wish there was more transition time after the prior attack stopped before it began.
I do wish the blocks had tiles over them, just to make it a bit easier to dodge attacks near the corners, and the spinning attack.
All-in-all, it's an alright fight.

Fun, accessible adventure game with some interesting mechanics. Rating based on bad ending because I did not enjoy the method of secrets. That said, there's enough game to enjoy up to this point.
Production is solid, and combined with a story and the ability to pick your paths, the core gameplay experience is interesting enough. The platforming and bosses feel very old fashioned style, but are executed well and are enjoyable as well.
Overall, its just a good adventure game for what I played - not necessarily a standout but absolutely worth playing for anyone who likes the style.
