A standard needle game with 2 stages. There isn't really anything different gameplay-wise with the 2 stages other than the background change. It's a good bit harder than the first game, but that's not saying much because the first one was completely free. This one has a couple deceptively precise jumps, but the saves are placed well enough where you'll only be doing at most 1 of these jumps per save mixed with some easy jumps before and/or after.
Now for the biggest issue with this game, it's the saves themselves. It's an S with a circle drawn around it, and the hitbox of it set to precise. It's drawn in just a way where it's very easy for your bullets to go right through it a lot of the time. There's one in particular that's just extra annoying to try to hit because of a spike and save blocker surrounding it. The readme does seem to acknowledge this but doesn't seem to know the issue, and so I want the creator to know that they just need to edit the hitbox sprite to be a circle OR changing it so they become S saves.
Another issue is that the background on stage 1 does add a bit of visual challenge with making a set of spikes in 1 save hard to see, but it's not the absolute worst thing ever.
Recommended if want standard needle (only spikes and blocks) and you've run out of games to play.
