It's a really difficult game for beginners, but really easy for advanced players.
Needle is not bad and the avoidance was fun.

Adventure-esque needle game consisting of a main hub that branches into 5 different stages. From short and precise saves to long heaps of slightly tricky jumps, each stage has a different style, sometimes even including basic mechanics such as triggers and "surprise needle" akin to I wanna be the Cyan. It's pretty interesting, but the platforming can get a little iffy at times, occasionally placing the hardest jump at the end of the save (Specially in the red and the blue stages, and specifically when drops are involved) and often using generic jumps (Specially in the black stage). Still, I enjoyed it. More often than not, it does well what it attempts to do. Would recommend, probably.

As the name implies this is a much harder remix of the original I wanna be the Fangame! It should be noted that the physics are the same as the original Fangame! so it may take some readjusting, I didn't find it to be much of an issue since the game is clearly designed around these physics anyways. As you would expect, you go through the same areas as the original but the screens are buffed, sometimes in small ways like there being more obstacles or the traps are different, but some screens are changed dramatically and are done completely differently, my personal favourite was the remixed pacman section. While the difficulty is obviously no where near some of the crazy 90 difficulty fangames that have come out, there is a surprising amount of precision needed for some sections, along with timed events that keep you on your toes. The bosses are all buffed in some way although you are given autofire which makes them go by a lot quicker despite the added difficulty (you also get automatic swimming by holding shift which helps a lot in the Bub fight).
The game is also abridged from the original, ending at the gradius boss (a secret boss in the original, now replacing the Grim Reaper), and there are no secrets (at least that I can find) which leaves the game feeling a lot smaller than the original although for what this game sets out to do is not a big deal.
I feel like this game won't appeal to the majority of IWBTG fangame players, but as someone who played Fangame! as their first fangame and loved it ever since, this was a nice little challenging treat and I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the original Fangame!

First, about the gimmicks: The wall jump mechanic is a lot better now, felt pretty natural to use and made for some fun pathing. The glider is fine, but the fact that grabbing onto a vine while equipped with a glider actually makes you go *faster* feels really weird and should probably be changed imo.
I did find it weird that neither the wall jump nor the glider were actually used in the rest of the game; it's just a bunch of jtool needle based around vines and water. This is fine, but it does make me question why the gimmick "tutorials" were included lol.
Catharsis water stage was the best because Catharsis water is the best.
The "extra" stage is mostly just kind of annoying so filling it with saves for the main game version was probably for the best.
Overall a fun little needle game even if it feels kind of disjointed overall.
