You get a vision to future attacks from the boss, but on hardcore you don't know that the boss will have a 2nd phase for a few of them.

Pretty solid needle game, the visual changes are a great detail I like throughout the game. I think that Floor 37 still serves as an outlier in difficulty compared to stuff before it, and 49.9999's final save is pretty atrocious, but besides these I can't really complain too much. My favorite part comes from the area with dotkid, alongside the one with red sparkling jump-refreshers.
Would recommend.

I speedran this game in IWM with a mediocre time (got ~10 minutes), and cleared the normal version. You need to keep an align for the plane in the penultimate(secondlast) save from an earlier save, if you don't want to use doublecancel. It's a great game besides that. The jump in the bottom right may be tricky for some.
